Privacy Policy
Last revised · October 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Disruptive Digital Solutions Group (“D2SG,” “we,” “us”), a sole proprietorship based in Costa Mesa, California, collects, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It covers d2sg.com, the conversations we have with founders and investors who contact us, and the purchases we handle as the seller for our products, such as Chris Maus. Each product also has its own privacy policy that describes the information it uses in more detail; please read it together with this one.
1.Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run our websites and products and to sell to you. We don’t collect government ID numbers or sensitive personal information such as health information.
- When you visit d2sg.com: technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the page that referred you. Our hosting provider collects this, and so does Google Analytics unless you turn it off.
- When you email us: your name, your email address and whatever you include in your message. If you write to us about an idea or a venture, that can include business information such as your plans, your company and your background.
- When you sign in to one of our products: an account identifier and, if you choose to share it, the email address that Google, Apple or Facebook passes to us. We never receive your password for those services.
- When you use a product: what you create and do in it, such as the stories, characters and choices you make, and your plan and usage. That product’s privacy policy describes this in detail.
- When you buy something: your name, email address, billing address or postal code, the card brand, last four digits and expiry date, and a record of what you bought and when. Stripe collects and stores your full card number; we don’t.
- When you order a physical item: your name and shipping address.
2.How we use it
- to provide and run our websites, products and your account;
- to take payments, renew and cancel memberships, issue refunds and calculate tax;
- to prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- to answer your questions and requests, and to evaluate and follow up on ideas and opportunities you send us;
- to send service emails, such as receipts, renewal reminders and notices of changes to our terms. We don’t send marketing emails without your permission;
- to understand, in aggregate, how our sites are used so we can improve them;
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3.Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
- Stripe: payments, memberships, tax calculation, fraud prevention and receipts. Stripe also uses some payment information under its own privacy policy, for example to prevent fraud.
- Amazon Web Services: website hosting, data storage and databases.
- Google Analytics: measuring how our websites are used. We use it to understand traffic, not to show you ads.
- Google, Apple and Meta (Facebook): sign-in, when you choose one of them.
- AI model providers (such as Anthropic, Google and fal.ai): generating the text, pictures and other output in our AI products. They receive what you enter and the context needed to respond, and process it under their business terms. Please don’t include sensitive personal details in what you enter.
- Google Workspace: our email.
- Print and shipping partners: making and delivering physical items you order.
- Legal reasons and business transfers: we may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or D2SG, or as part of a sale or transfer of a product or of our business, in which case the new owner must honor this policy.
4.Cookies and analytics
d2sg.com uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits, and a few browser-storage entries to remember your language and cookie choice. Our Cookie Policy, linked at the bottom of every page, explains each one and lets you turn analytics off.
5.Do Not Track signals
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, our websites don’t currently change their behavior when they receive one. You can turn analytics off on our Cookie Policy page or with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
6.How long we keep it
- Account and product information: while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete this information, except what we must keep for the reasons below.
- Purchase and billing records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally up to seven years.
- Emails with us, including ideas and proposals you send: as long as we need them to deal with your request, consider the opportunity and follow up.
- Analytics: Google Analytics keeps event data for a limited period set in our account, no longer than 14 months.
7.Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it or to send you a copy. Email support@d2sg.com from the email address linked to your account, or call us toll-free at +1 (844) 772-8957 (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Pacific time) and tell us how to identify your account. We will confirm the request is yours and respond within the time the law requires. We won’t treat you differently for exercising these rights.
You can also delete a product account in that product’s settings, and manage or cancel a membership on its billing page.
California residents: we don’t sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms, and we don’t use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You may make a request through an authorized agent. People in other U.S. states and other countries may have similar rights under their local laws, and we honor requests on the same basis.
8.Children
Our websites are not directed to children under 13, and accounts and purchases are for adults 18 and over. Some of our products tell stories for families; children may enjoy them on a parent’s or guardian’s account, but we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@d2sg.com and we will delete it.
9.Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, restricted access to our systems and a PCI-compliant payment processor. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
10.Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers store and process information mainly in the United States. If you use our websites from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new date, and if a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell you by email or on our websites before it applies.
